I knew what I had to do. I walked down to the garden which was protected by a strand of bob wire which the horses did go under, I then approached the horses making clicking noises with my tongue and holding my hand out as if I had food. The horses of course did not come. Instead they walked through my garden, destroying my onions.
I finally cornered the larger of the two and grabbed it by its bridle. I was simply going to lead it out of my garden and off my place, then close my gate. But nothing is ever that easy for Travis Gibbs. As soon as I grabbed it, the damn horse started to fight me. By the way this horse out classed me in weight by probably three to five hundred pounds and by a woping height of three feet. The horse was fighting me in every way and it was starting to make me mad. It then threw its head up and hit me in the face. I still held on though, trying to forced it out of my garden. The horse just wouldnt cooperate. It threw its head at me once again and I ducked. As I raised back up I brought a fist up with me, which pierced the horse under the jawl. The horse felt the pain and broke free of my grip knocking me to the ground. This is when I blew up. I would not have a horse on my land, in my garden making a fool of me. I got up from the ground and walked out of the fence. Conveniently placed was a two by four board that had been cut in half. I grabbed it and swung it, hitting a large piece of metal. The board splintered under me leaving behind a small sword like devise. The horse then seeing all of this stared to the end of the garden, but no I wasnt going to let it escape without a lesson.
I chased it up my drive way and out on to the road. For a good fifty yards I chased the horse, barefooted I might add, till I chunked the broken board like a spear. It hurtled through the air and struck the horse on the behind, causing it to run even faster. I then stopped and headed back home. It had been a close battle, but the horse knew the fear which was Travis.
